The Inn of Infinite Sadness, or alternatively, Smudge and Hobbes' Traumatising Transcendental Transatlantic Trip. Being the adventures of two very large, unwillingly peripatetic, half-Bengal cats and their owner (of rather similar description) as they prepare to leave the North American continent in search of a new life in their (the cats, not the owner) ancestral homeland of Aneda. Sigh, what I won't do for a decent cup of tea.

Not Happy Campers...
Guess who doesn't like their new harnesses? Hobbes keeps trying to back out of it- and falling of the bed as a result. Smudge just rolls on the floor and gives me the most pitiful look. Maybe it's the colour- they are shocking pink with squiggly lines of green, lavender and baby blue (it's all the store had left). Then again, I'm pretty sure that cats have pretty rubbish vision at the red end of the spectrum, so how can they tell? And to give you an idea how big my cats are, they take a medium size DOG harness (eat our heart out, Serval-owning vintage guitar store owner!). And though these look like they are on tight, they aren't at all- these guys are just all fur!
With me and the cats sharing the cab of the truck for six days, this will be an interesting trip.
